Care should be taken while taking measurements so that the blinds fall correctly.

Depending on where you are installing the blinds, you have two mounting options:

Mounting the blind inside a niche:
This option is available in the case of most indoor blinds. It is a better option if there are curtains in front of the blinds.
In such cases, accuracy is of prime importance since the blind must fall inside the perimeter of the niche.

• Measure the width in cm at the top, middle and bottom of the niche and take the smallest of these as the final width.
• Similarly for the length, measure at the left, right corners and at the centre and take the smallest of these as the final length.
• Ensure that the specifications are as per the actual measurements. When making the blinds, we will provide a standard allowance to ensure free flowing of the blind.

Mounting the blind flush against the wall:

This is usually done for outdoor blinds, where there is no niche. You have the option of covering more area than the actual window or frame. This can also be done where there is a niche, by mounting the blinds outside the niche on the wall above.
